Governor Meldrim Thomson Jr. Principle Above Politics Chairman's Award

In 2002, the voting members of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee unanimously supported honoring an individual who has demonstrated courageous and principled leadership like the Late Governor Meldrim Thomson Jr. did during his tenure as Chief Executive of the state of New Hampshire.

The Meldrim Thomson Jr. Principle Above Politics Chairman’s Award is presented each year at the New Hampshire Republican State Committee’s Annual Meeting. Nominations may be made by any New Hampshire Republican. The recipient is chosen by the Thomson family in consultation with the Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee.

At the January 2011 Annual Meeting, state committee members will elect the 2011-2012 officers of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee. Below is the list of officers that will be voted on:

Area 1 Vice Char (representing Carroll, Coos and Grafton Counties)
Area 2 Vice Chair (representing Rockingham and Strafford Counties as well the town of Derry)
Area 3 Vice Chair (representing Hillsborough County as well as the cities of Manchester and Nashua)
Area 4 Vice Chair (representing Cheshire and Sullivan Counties)
Area 5 Vice Chair (representing Belknap and Merrimack Counties as well as the city of Concord.)
