Chairman MacDonald's Biography

With political experience spanning more than three decades, Wayne MacDonald has served the New Hampshire Republican State Committee (NHRSC) at every level.  Most recently, in September 2011 Wayne became Chairman of the NHRSC.

Prior to his current service, Chairman MacDonald held the position of Vice Chair for the state's GOP for eight years beginning in January 2003.  In addition to his time as part of the NHRSC's Executive Committee, Wayne has also held leadership positions at the local and county levels. From 1990 until 2001, MacDonald was Chairman of the Rockingham County Republican Party.  He also served as the Londonderry Town Chairman and Area 2 Vice Chairman.
 
Chairman MacDonald served as a Presidential Elector in 2000, a Delegate to the Republican National Convention (2000, 2004), and as an Alternate Delegate for Ronald Reagan in 1984.  He also briefly served as National Committeeman.
 
Wayne's political resume is matched only by his impressive record of electing Republican candidates to office. MacDonald has run more than a dozen campaigns, including Tom Colantuono's two victories for Executive Council and Russ Prescott's second run for State Senate in 2002.
