Twice In Two Days: NHGOP Condemns NH Democrats’ Latest Hateful Comments About Governor Palin
CONCORD – The New Hampshire Republican State Committee today denounced ANOTHER hateful comment from a New Hampshire Democrat about former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The Union Leader (8/12) today reports that State Representative Timothy Horrigan (D-Durham) said in a Facebook post that a “dead Palin wd be even more dangerous than a live one...she is all about her myth & if she was dead she cldn't commit any more gaffes." The Party also called on Governor John Lynch and First District Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter to denounce the disgusting comments.
“Instead of discussing their failed economic policies, New Hampshire Democrats are now spending their time openly discussing Governor Sarah Palin’s death. Representative Horrigan’s comments are sick, twisted and disgusting, and they must be immediately denounced by Governor John Lynch and Representative Carol Shea-Porter,” said NHGOP Communications Director Ryan Williams.
Unfortunately, Representative Horrigan’s comments are not an isolated incident. They come only one day after Democrat NH House candidate Keith Halloran publicly announced that he wished Governor Palin had died in the tragic plane crash that took the life of Senator Ted Stevens (Keene Sentinel, 8/12).
“The widespread fixation among New Hampshire Democrats with Governor Palin’s death proves that there is a full blown epidemic of hatred and derangement festering in Governor Lynch’s party,” said Williams.
