Sununu Statement On Sen. Downing Retirement

CONCORD – Former New Hampshire Governor and Republican State Committee Chairman John H. Sununu released the following statement today on Senator Mike Downing’s (R-Salem) decision to retire from the New Hampshire Senate and run for Rockingham County Sheriff:
 
“For the past four years, Senator Mike Downing has been a tireless advocate for the residents of District 22. Mike is a dedicated public servant and his strong commitment to fiscal discipline has made a significant impact in Concord.
 
“We thank Mike for his principled leadership in the Senate, and wish him luck in his campaign for Rockingham County Sheriff.”
