Sununu Statement On The Passing Of Gale Thomson

CONCORD – Former New Hampshire Governor John H. Sununu released the following statement today on the passing of former New Hampshire First Lady Gale Thomson:
 
“Nancy and I and the entire Sununu family are deeply saddened by the passing of Gale Thomson. We in the state have lost a very dear friend and a great advocate of the traditions of New Hampshire.
 
“Gale Thomson was a gracious First Lady and a very significant partner to her husband, Governor Meldrim Thomson. She was the classic example of the phrase ‘behind every great man is an even greater woman.’
 
“Our family extends our condolences and our prayers to the Thomson family.
