NHGOP To Lynch: Refund 2009 LLC Income Tax

Governor Can’t Have It Both Ways – He Must Repeal EVERY Part Of His Job-Killing LLC Income Tax

CONCORD –  The New Hampshire Republican State Committee today demanded that Governor Lynch refund 2009 collections of his disastrous job-killing LLC income tax to New Hampshire small business owners. Facing the most difficult re-election campaign of his career, Lynch announced today that supports a partial repeal of the LLC income tax that he signed into law.
 
“The only reason why John Lynch is even considering a repeal of his job-killing LLC income tax is because he is afraid that a fiscally conservative Republican will beat him in November. The Governor repeatedly lied to New Hampshire voters when he told them that his disastrous tax wouldn’t kill jobs, and he is only reversing his position now that he is facing the toughest re-election campaign of his career,” said NHGOP Communications Director Ryan Williams. “But he can’t have it both ways – John Lynch must completely repeal this income tax and refund all 2009 collections to New Hampshire’s small business owners.”

The Union Leader (3/5) reports that Lynch wants to leave his disastrous LLC Income tax in place for 2009 business activity.
