Kevin Smith to speak in Salem
Candidate for Governor to address local Republicans
Salem Kevin Smith, candidate for Governor, will be the guest speaker at the regular meeting of the Salem Republican Town Committee on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kelley Library.Kevin is former Executive Director of Cornerstone Action, a non-partisan conservative advocacy organization. He faces Ovide Lamontagne in the Republican primary to for a chance to succeed four-term Governor John Lynch, who has announced he will not run again.
A former legislator and liaison to the Executive Council under Governor Benson, Smith also served as Assistant Director of Juvenile Justice Services. He lives in Litchfield with his wife and three children.
The Salem Republican Town Committee meets on the first Thursday of the month at the Kelley Library. Meetings are open to all those who support Republican ideals. More information is available at www. SalemNHGOP.com.
