In remembrance of one of America’s greatest presidents, Ronald Reagan, a celebration of his life will be held on February 5, 2010, at 6 PM, at the gorgeous Great Bay Gallery, in Somersworth. All proceeds with go to charities serving the people of Haiti. The event will feature several presentations in honor of President Reagan: Opening Song: National Anthem – Lakes Region Opera Company The Wit of Ronald Reagan – 7 minutes One of Ronald Reagan’s Greatest Speeches - “A Time for Choosing” – 20 minutes Song: Battle Hymn of the Republic (one of the Gipper’s favorites) – Lake Region Opera Company The singing of Happy Birthday (off-key by most)- Birthday Cake Cost: Suggested donation is $20.00 (pp -$35.00 per couple) – All proceeds will be donated to key charities helping with the Haitian earthquake relief efforts.
